Food, Water and Shelter

Food, water and shelter are basic needs for people and for wildlife. The WCS-North America’s Corridor Conservation Initiative is working to link and protect habitats so that wide ranging animals such as pronghorn may travel freely and access their basic needs.


Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative

Y2Y is a group based in Canmore, Alberta that is working to connect diverse habitat into a continuous conservation corridor. The Y2Y area is 1.3 million square kilometers (502,000 square miles),spans 5 states, 2 provinces and 2 territories  and encompasses three mountain ranges: the Rocky Mountains, the Columbia Mountains and the Mackenzie Mountains.
